Far 1992. A little city of Norwood in the state of Ontario. Five teenagers Adam Gontier, Neil Sanderson, Brad Walst, Joe Grant and Phil Crowe lived out their old dream by creating a rock band named “Groundswell”. Being very talented and ambitious they tried to get every opportunity to present their own songs and to perform on the scene. Their 1st album was successfully finished in 1995, but very soon Phil and Joe left the band. After a couple of years of creative break Gontier, Sanderson and Walst reanimated everything with a new name “Three Days Grace”. A new producer at one glance noticed a great talent and great future of these young musicians. Thus from 1997 Canadian “gold nuggets” began conquering world music Olympus. Album after album brings them more and more fans. Unfortunately on the pick of popularity Adam Gontier, the main vocalist and songwriter of the band has to stop his musical existence in the life of the band because of bad health. Though in a short time Matt Walst replaced him and gave a breath of fresh air to music, to lyrics, to general sounding. Besides, Barry Stock joined the group in 2003 and refreshed guitar accords.
Of course huge talent of Three Days Grace members cannot be left unmarked. They won numerous important awards and nominations like group of the year, best video in the style of rock, album of the year, etc. Matt confessed that their songs are like healing therapy for themselves, and they wish the same for all their listeners.
